Yuko Yamaguchi (Kitty Mama), the head designer for Hello Kitty (and likely the designer for the Hello Kitty most of us are familiar with), will be making a rare U.S. appearance especially at this event.

Hello Kitty will also be making an appearance in a stunningly chic black and pink dress made exclusively for Sephora by Chubby Bunny. Staff will be decked out in the iconic pink Hello Kitty bows, also made by Chubby Bunny and available through her homepage as well as the official Sanrio homepage (currently out of stock).

* The first 200 people who make a $35 Hello Kitty purchase at Sephora Fifth Avenue between 10 AM and 5 PM on March 16 will receive a wristband, which will ensure meeting Ms. Yamaguchi. She will be available to sign two items per person.
